HUXLEY, ALDOUS, ``Brave New World´´ by Aldous Huxley, 1931 — A good book, though the error about all this society is that it considers welfare as being a matter of energy rather than of information; Huxley understands that there is an error, but can't find which. Note that Cybernetics didn't exist at the time, although Hayek had already published many things. - Rideau.

ICE, INVESTIGATING CURIOUS EVIDENCE, a discontinued website - now put "on ice" ? on a CD! ICE: A group interested in gathering and studying evidence of government misrepresentation or misapplication of law, especially in the area of taxation. Sadly, ICE is closing down. After years of faithful service, the time for a change has come. There's good news, however. For $25 plus shipping you can obtain the entire ICE Web site as it existed at its closing, as well as the last five years of archived e-mail posts to the ICE Bucket Yahoo!® Group—all on a searchable CD. ICE is receiving no money from the sales, as the project has never been about money and it shouldn't end that way either. It's always been just an "after hours" contribution to the Cause. The price for this CD is very fair. Just the time and effort to download the material (300+ megabytes) from the ICE website alone is more than worth the amount being asked. The ICE Bucket archives is five years of irreplaceable commentary (only the occasional ICE rant), many illuminating discussions, and Movement news and research data—all of which, again, is searchable. The patriot who's done the work has a unique skill set, and he's put in a considerable amount of effort to get this ready on relatively short notice. He's a man whose unwillingness to sacrifice his principles has caused him to struggle financially at times—as many other patriots also do. This is his moment where his skill set and willingness to work hard have created a "win/win" for both himself and you who feel the ICE and ICE Bucket material is valuable and something to keep to reflect back on. All things considered, the ICE Archive CD will make an excellent addition to your collection. To place your order, click here: http://intexx.com/ice/  Take care, and we'll see you down the trail! ICE : Investigating Curious Evidence. ICE: Because there's more under the surface than meets the eye. - Now, if more libertarians closed most of their website offers and, instead, offered them on CD's, in combination with other libertarians, doing the same .... -  They would save money and might even make some money! -   I got this new in an email today from ice.archive@intexx.com - J.Z., 12.7.04.

INDUSTRIAL WORKERS OF THE WORLD, IWW, Industrial Workers of the World - "Like the VCM, the Wobblies are an organization I'm proud to be affiliated with. The predominant philosophies in the IWW are non-market ones like anarcho-syndicalism and various forms of libertarian communism, rather than mutualism. But I know mutualists within the organization; and syndicalism is very much an outgrowth of Proudhon's mutualism and has a decidedly "petty bourgeois" background, according to Christopher Lasch. Workers' control of big corporate firms figures big not only among mutualists, but in the speculations of Murray Rothbard and Karl Hess. In fact, the IWW has exerted a peculiar fascination on a lot of right-libertarians. Hess joined at the height of his affinity for the New Left; and Samuel Konkin of the MLL calls us his "favorite union." The Wobs are the premier "One Big Union" fighting for worker control of the production process, and are coming back from their near-oblivion a lot faster than the corporate state would like to see."

KORAN, Q’URAN, The Project Gutenberg Etext of The Koran as translated by the Rev. J.M. Rodwell, with an introduction by the Rev. G. Margoliouth, M.A. - The Project Gutenberg, 1127 Kbs. - For its few good passages, e.g. on moderation in warfare, as well as its many atrocious ones, just like they can be found in the Bible. – Detailed rituals or even conquest and domination advice, are not a good substitute for any good ethics or morals. – How many millions were murdered in the name of all supposedly “good” religions? – Full freedom for all non-believers! – The religious people are only to rule and punish themselves – according to their own rules. - J.Z., 19.7.07. Of its titles I find most important its $ 84.95 CD-ROM reproducing the, at first $ 15,000, then reduced to $ 11,000, AMERICAN FREEDOM LIBRARY, from The Western Standard Publishing Company, containing over 160,000 pages, mainly old and new constitutionalist writings. Some but not enough details are given in these pages. I spent my then last U.S. dollars on ordering the disk. (I received it in the meantime but named: The American Reference Library, by World Book, Encyclopaedia, with website given as: www.westernstandard.com "… the Largest Library of Historical and Official Documents Ever Assembled on One CD-ROM.  … Over 55,000 Source Documents. … Over 240 Volumes of U.S. History and Political Science …" - J.Z., 24.5.02.) Libertarian websites towards it could be much more conveniently and cheaply combined on CD-ROMs. Quite a number of large encyclopaedias have demonstrated this already. Naturally, for updates and discussions etc., they should
